With offline mode and a cashier-friendly UI, Magestore Magento 2 POS system replaces slow, manual order entry—so your team can create orders in seconds and keep selling through outages.
The Magento POS system that gets you selling in-store fast—with or without the Internet
Magestore POS system for Magento makes in-store order creation fast and simple for staff
Scan, charge, and create the order—fast. Magestore Magento POS streamlines in-store checkout with a clean UI, barcode scanning, and integrated payments that reduce entry time and errors.
Use the devices you have—upgrade hardware on your terms
Deploy Magestore POS on any browser-capable device—tablets, iPads, desktops, or laptops—so you avoid device lock-in and roll out registers faster across counters, pop-ups, and events.
Magestore POS works with popular barcode scanners—no hardware lock-in
Use your current barcode scanner or choose a model you prefer—Magestore POS supports a wide range of popular scanners, so staff can scan to pull up items instantly and speed up checkout.
Integrated payments that speed up checkout and reconciliation
Connect Magestore Magento POS with Square, Dojo, Tyro, Stripe, and more to automate payment taking and recording—so staff spend less time keying in amounts and more time serving customers, with cleaner data for end-of-day reconciliation.
Sell at trade shows and pop-ups—even without the internet
Magestore POS keeps checkout running offline by saving orders on the device, then syncing them to Magento once you’re back online—so spotty venue Wi-Fi won’t stop sales.
Use your Magento catalog — no separate product import
Magestore Magento POS software automatically uses your Magento catalog, so products, images, and updates don’t have to be maintained in a second system. When you create or update items in Magento—even at high SKU volume—your POS pulls from the same catalog, saving time and keeping stock changes tied back to Magento.
Use the same stock as your Magento store — online and in-store stay aligned
Magestore Magento 2 POS runs on your Magento stock, so in-store sales deduct from the same inventory your website uses. That reduces time lags, avoids manual “update the other place” work, and helps prevent cases where stock doesn’t get lowered after a sale.
”Magestore POS was our ideal solution for seamlessly integrating our new Magento website and POS system. Having everything in one place has simplified our workflow significantly!

FAQs
1. Is Magestore POS a Magento extension we install, or is it a cloud POS that integrates with Magento?
Magestore offers three options: POS Lite is a cloud POS that integrates with Magento. POS Simple is a lightweight Magento 2 POS extension. POS Commerce is an all-in-one POS system with inventory, procurement, and order management.
2. Is Magestore POS for Magento compatible with the Hyvä theme and extensions like Amasty?
Yes — Magestore POS is compatible with Hyvä and works with many third-party Magento extensions (including popular providers like Amasty). Since extension setups vary, send us your extension list and we’ll confirm compatibility for your specific store.
3. Who owns the source code—does Magestore retain it, or is it handed over to the client?
If you purchase POS Simple or POS Commerce, we hand over the source code as part of the delivery. For POS Lite, the source code is not handed over because it’s a cloud offering.
4. How many POS terminals/devices can we run (1, 2, 5, 10+)?
With Magestore POS, you can add unlimited POS terminals/devices, store locations, and user accounts—whether you purchase a POS Simple/Commerce license or subscribe to POS Lite.
5. Do you charge any transaction fees on top of payment processing fees?
No. Magestore doesn’t charge any transaction fees. Your payment provider handles the processing and settlement; Magestore POS only sends the payment amount and records the payment status, so we don’t move funds and don’t add per-transaction charges.
6. Is pricing billed monthly, yearly, or as a one-time payment?
POS Lite is billed monthly (subscription). POS Simple and POS Commerce are one-time purchases (license payment).
7. If the internet is weak at a trade show, can we still process orders and sync later?
Yes. Magestore Magento point of sale can still process sales when you’re offline by saving orders on the device’s local storage. Once the internet is back, it syncs the data to Magento automatically.
8. Where does POS data live—does it stay in Magento?
Magestore POS syncs sales data to Magento, so your POS orders and related records live in Magento (the same place your online orders are managed).
9. Can we go live for a month, pause, and re-enable later—so we only pay for the months we use?
Yes. With POS Lite, you can pause and restart your subscription as needed. Your POS data is stored on your server, so you won’t lose it when you unsubscribe.
10. Can we start with POS Simple and upgrade to the full version later?
Yes. You can start with POS Simple and upgrade to POS Commerce later—you only pay the difference between the two tiers, not the full POS Commerce license fee.
11. How many websites or stores can I use with one license?
After purchasing, you’ll get a License Certificate which includes a license serial. It is valid for:
- One dev Magento installation
- One live Magento installation. Even if you have multiple sites and stores in the same Magento backend, 1 POS license is enough.
12. What are the main differences between Magestore POS Lite and pos commerce packages for Magento retailers?
POS Lite is a cloud-based POS for Magento retailers that covers the essentials—creating orders and taking payments.
POS Commerce is an all-in-one POS system that goes beyond checkout, with inventory management, procurement, and order management for deeper retail operations.
13. Does Magento have POS?
Magento (Adobe Commerce / Magento Open Source) doesn’t include a built-in POS. Instead, POS is provided by partner solutions that integrate with Magento. Magestore is one of the actively maintained options, offering three tiers—POS Lite, POS Simple, and POS Commerce—to cover different in-store selling needs.
14. What is Magento POS?
A Magento POS is a point-of-sale system that lets you sell in-store while keeping sales data connected to your Magento store.
- A Magento-native POS runs on Magento’s data (catalog, customers, orders, stock) so in-store sales create Magento orders and stay aligned with your online store.
- A non-native POS is a separate POS system that connects via integration, so you typically manage products/inventory in two places and rely on syncing between systems.
15. Does Magento POS support offline sales when internet connectivity is lost?
It depends on the POS solution. Some Magento POS systems support offline selling—for example, Magestore POS can continue processing sales offline and sync data back to Magento once you’re online again. Others are online-only and don’t support offline sales when connectivity is lost (for example, Magefan POS).
16. How complex is it to implement Magento POS?
Implementing a Magento POS can be as simple as configuring a few settings and connecting your catalog—or it can become a larger project if you have multi-store setups, complex inventory flows (ERP/WMS), custom checkout logic, or specific payment/terminal requirements.
If you share a quick overview of your Magento setup, we can tell you what level of effort to expect and the safest path to go live. Book a short call with our team—we’ll review your stack (version, theme, key extensions, inventory + payments) and give you a clear, tailored recommendation.
17. What reporting and analytics features does Magento POS provide?
Reporting and analytics vary by POS solution, but most Magento POS systems include core POS and sales reports (e.g., sales by day, by cashier, by location, payment methods, and order summaries). If a POS includes its own inventory management, it typically adds inventory reports (stock on hand, stock movement, low stock, etc.).
Magestore POS offers POS, sales, and (where applicable) inventory reporting, but the exact reports available depend on the tier (POS Lite, POS Simple, or POS Commerce).
18. How does Magestore POS integrate with Magento and support both online and in-store sales?
Magestore POS is Magento-native, so it connects directly to your Magento store without middleware or third-party connectors. It uses the same Magento catalog and stock as your online store, which means in-store sales create Magento orders and deduct from the same inventory your website relies on—helping keep online and in-store sales aligned.

Great POS solution for Magento
We were looking for a POS solution for our business that is already integrated and ready to work with Magento. We were doing a lot of research trying to find the best solution for us that will be quick and easy to use and to be honest, there were not many options out there except for Magestore. The POS system that they offer is very user-friendly and simple to use, works right out of the box and solved all the requirements we had. Furthermore, after integration we had some additional requirements and problems to resolve and Magestore was there for us, working hand by hand and in a professional way. We are very pleased with their service, and we would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking to integrate a POS system with their store.
Great system with a Brilliant Support Team
We have been working with Magestore for a while now after deciding to introduce an in store POS system that would work alongside Magento2. They have always been very professional and a delight to work with, our questions were always answered and their knowledge is excellent. A special mention to Katrina and team for always being on hand to advise.
Excellent POS!
We’ve used Magestore POS for magento for over 4 years now after a poor experience with another POS system. I’m impressed with Magestore’s functionality, stability and scalability across our multi store environment.
After upgrading to the latest version of magento we lost some processing functionality and Brian from Magestore was very responsive and helpful in resolving our issue quickly.
I recommend Magestore POS highly.
Solid Solution, Even Better Support!
We’ve been partners with Magestore for a few months now and honestly—it’s been amazing! The POS system is super intuitive, and it fits in really nicely Magento stores. No awkward syncing issues or delays, which is such a relief when you’ve had bad experiences before.
What really stood out though? The customer support. The Magestore team’s been super responsive, helpful, and just generally nice to deal with. It’s clear they actually care about their customers and not just making a sale.
If you’re running a Magento store and looking for a reliable POS that actually works the way you need it to—Magestore’s worth checking out.
