You might wonder what is happening with Magestore? Where are the old website and all Magento extensions? Please read the following announcement and we hope that you will support us with this new decision. Sorry for any inconvenience you might have due to this change.

After 8 years in Magento market, we've earned trust from more than 70,000 global customers and have achieved far from what we started with. Saying goodbye to our top extensions is not that easy. However, if not now, when? We decide to learn and experience the strength of FOCUS again. Magestore wants to be the Leading Native Omnichannel Solution for Magento retailers and now is the time to work on our dream. You don’t see doesn’t mean we don’t provide. Due to the new focus, there are some changes in our pricing & product policy.

If you want to purchase Magestore’s common extensions, please visit our listing page of Magento 1 extensions and listing page of Magento 2 extensions and find the extensions you want to purchase.

Please note that:

  • WebPOS, Retailer POS, Inventory Management, Purchase Management, Barcode Management, Order Fulfillment, Dropship, Store Pickup (both M1 & M2) are no-longer sold as a single extension. They have been evolved into one solution called Omnichannel Solution. Please refer to our Pricing page for the new concept.
  • For 3 extensions including Reward Points, Store Credit & Gift Card (both M1 & M2), you can purchase with 1 out of 2 options: If it works for your online business only, you can purchase it at 50% off without any support & update plan. If you need the function for your online to offline business, please refer to our Omnichannel Solution for more details.
  • All the rest extensions will be sold at 50% price off without any support and update plan. Please refer to 4.2 & 5.2 session to read new policy.

Customer is the biggest treasure in our long journey. That’s why the existing customers please do not worry. We still keep all promises as the time you purchased the extension (about Support & Refund) Just due to limited resources, we cannot provide Installation, Customization and Update plan for those extensions any longer. There are a lot of Magento agencies in the ecosystem, you can find a good replacement to do those tasks for you.

Magestore's Policy

Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before using any products or services on www.magestore.com. By purchasing, installing or using products or services from Magestore, we assume that you read and agree to all the terms of this policy.

1. COPYRIGHT

Magestore is the copyright holder of all software sold on this site. The copying, redistribution, use or publication of any products without Magestore’s permission, is strictly prohibited. You are not allowed to use any part of our code in whole or as part of any other software or product or website.

2. PRODUCT LICENSE

2.1. Grant of product license

By purchasing a product of Magestore:

  • Customer will receive 100% open source code.
  • Customer will obtain a License Certificate which will remain valid until the Customer stops using the Product; or until Magestore terminates this License because of Customer's failure to comply with any of its Terms and Conditions. Each License Certificate includes a license serial which is valid for one live Magento installation only and one testing site Magento installations.
  • You are allowed to customize our products to fit with your using purpose.

2.2. Description of other rights and limitations

(a) Installation and Use

For each new Software installation, you are obliged to purchase a separate License.

You are not permitted to use any part of the code in whole or part in any other software or product or website.

You are legally bound to preserve the copyright information intact including the text/link at bottom.

(b) Distribution

You are not allowed to distribute Magestore software to third parties. Any distribution without our permission, including non commercial distribution is considered as violation of this Agreement and entails liability, according to the current law. You may not place the Software onto a server that allows access to the Software via a public network or the Internet for distribution purposes.

(c) Rental

You may not give, sell, sub-license, rent, lease or lend any portion of the Software to anyone.

(d) Compliance with Applicable Laws

You must comply with all applicable laws regarding use of software products. Magestore software and a portion of it are protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties. Accordingly, customer is required to treat the software like any other copyrighted material. Any activity violating copyright law will be prosecuted according to the current law. We retain the right to revoke the license of any user holding an invalid license.

2.3. Termination

Without prejudice to any other rights, Magestore may terminate this License at any time if you fail to comply with the terms and conditions of this License. In such event, it constitutes a breach of the agreement. Your license to use the program is revoked and you must destroy all copies of Magestore products in your possession.

After being notified of termination of your license, if you continue to use Magestore software, you hereby accept an injunction to prevent you from its further use. You will have to pay all costs (including but not limited to reasonable attorney fees) to enforce our revocation of your license and for any damages suffered by us due to your misuse of the Software.

In case of license termination, we are not bound to return you the amount spent for purchase of the Software.

2.4. Limitation of liability

In no event shall Magestore be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, lost profits, business interruption, or lost information) rising out of 'Authorized Users' use of or inability to use the Magestore products, even if Magestore has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event will Magestore be liable for prosecution arising from use of the Software against the law or for any illegal use.

3. PRODUCT UPDATE

We offer Free Lifetime Update for our customers. It means that when the Omnichannel solution has any new changes, you will obtain the new features of your purchased package without any extra fee. Please note that our updates are independent with Magento updates.

**NOTE: If you buy software for Magento 1.x version, you can request to get the same software edition of Magento 2.x version. However, the migration fee will be required. For other cases, contact us for more information.

4. SUPPORT

**NOTE: License Serial is required when requesting support. For more information about Product License Certificate, please refer to Section 2.1. Grant of product license.

4.1. New support policy for Omnichannel retail software:

  • For Omnichannel solution, our support is provided free for the first year.
  • From the second year, you can renew support services with a yearly certain fee.

Support includes answering questions related to our products, bug/error fixing to make sure our products work well on your site, exactly like our demo.

Support does not include customizing our product to fit your own needs. Customization request will require fee (official rate $40/hour).

To ask for support or report bugs, please submit a ticket to our Support system. Please understand that tickets arriving during our weekend will be processed when we’re back to work on the following Monday (GMT+7).

4.2. For Magento extensions sold at 50% price-off:

As we announce on Magestore.com, from 2nd October till 30th November, 2017, some Magestore’s extensions are sold at 50% price-off. After that, we will disable these extension completely, you can purchase it neither at Magestore nor Magento Marketplace. So, please read carefully the following policy (support/ refund/ update/ installation/ customization policy) before purchasing. This policy is applied for these extensions including Affiliate Plus, PDF Invoice, One Step Checkout, Mega Menu, Store Locator (both Magento 1 and Magento 2) and 03 extensions: Reward Points, Gift Card, Store Credit if you purchase them as a single extension

  • For orders completed from 2nd October, 2017:
    1. - There are NO Support and Installation service for these extensions from 2nd October, 2017.
    2. - We stop providing Customization service as well as Update plan for these extensions
    3. - You can still refund product within 30 days from the date of purchase if needed
  • For orders completed before 2nd October, 2017:
    1. - You still get 1 free year support from the date of purchase as promised
    2. - From the second year, due to limited resource we cannot provide support for you. There are a lot of Magento agencies in the ecosystem, you can find a good replacement.
    3. - Within 30 days from the date of purchase, you can refund the extension if needed
    4. - Due to limited resource, we also cannot provide Installation, Customization service and Update plan for these extensions from the moment.
  • For orders completed before 1st March, 2016:
    1. - Our support is still provided free for lifetime as committed
    2. - However, we just support for Magento 1.x or Magento 2.x up until 2nd October, 2017 and stop providing Update plan to later Magento version.
    3. - Due to limited resource, we cannot provide Installation, Customization service and Update plan for these extensions from the moment.

To ask for support or report bugs, please submit a ticket to our Support system. Please understand that tickets arriving during our weekend will be processed when we’re back to work on the following Monday (GMT+7).

4.3. For Magento extensions not available as a single extension

We want to announce that from 2nd October, 2017, some Magestore’s extensions are no longer sold as a single extension. We’ve evolved to provide the whole Omnichannel Solution. This policy is applied for these extensions including Inventory Management, Store Pickup, Dropship, Order Fulfillment, Purchase Management, Barcode Management, Web POS, Retailer POS (both Magento 1 and Magento 2)

For current customers who have already purchased this extension, we will continue:

  • Providing free support within a year from the date of purchase.
  • From the second year, you can renew support services at $50 per year as committed
  • You still can refund the extension within 30 days from your purchase date.
  • We still will provide Installation, Customization service and Free Update for these extensions

To ask for support or report bugs, please submit a ticket to our Support system. Please understand that tickets arriving during our weekend will be processed when we’re back to work on the following Monday (GMT+7).

5. REFUND

5.1. For Omnichannel solution package from 2nd October, 2017

We offer 365-day money back guarantee for Omnichannel solution. You can get a full refund if you are not satisfied with our product during 365 days after your purchase. Please note that: During the refund process, if there’s any processing fee appeared, Magestore & customer will share the fee with the rate 50% - 50%. If you want to receive refund by a different Paypal email from which you used to purchase, an extra handling fee (equivalent to about 3.9% of the total amount) will be deducted to cover incurred Paypal's transaction fees.

The following cases will not be issued refunds:

  • All refund requests that exceed 365-day limitation after purchase;
  • Installation and customization services fee.

To request refund, please submit a ticket with your order information to our ticket system. You will receive the refund within 7 days since your request is confirmed.

5.2. For these Magento single extensions

We offer 30-day money back guarantee for all of our products. You can get a full refund if you are not satisfied with our product during 30 days after your purchase. Please note that: if you want to receive refund by a different Paypal email from which you used to purchase, an extra handling fee (equivalent to about 3.9% of the total amount) will be deducted to cover incurred Paypal's transaction fees.

Magestore will not process refund requests for the following cases:

  • All refund requests that exceed 30-day limitation after purchase;
  • Installation and customization services fee.

To request refund, please submit a ticket with your order information to our ticket system. You will receive the refund within 7 days since your request is confirmed.

6. PRIVACY POLICY

At Magestore, we recognize that privacy is important and we commit to protect your privacy. This policy describes the ways we collect, store, use and protect your personal information. We assume that you accepted our policy when you sign up and use our services.

6.1. How we collect information

When you visit Magestore.com, we collect your IP address and web browser information. If you want to create an account at Magestore, we require you provide your personal information: name, address and email address. When you purchase extensions from Magestore, you may need to provide us some more additional information: address, phone, company.

6.2. How we use your information

Our main purpose to collect your information is to provide you secure, smooth, efficient when you browse our site. We use this information to process and deliver your order, for billing purposes, for providing a more pleasant and personalized shopping experience, and for communicating with you about orders and promotional updates. You can review and edit your personal information at any time by logging in your account and go to My Account section.

6.3. How we use cookies

When you access our website, we may place small data files called "cookies" on your computer. This data contains information about you and it helps us to identify you if you visit multiple pages on our site during the same session, so that we don’t need to ask you for your password on each page. Once you logout your account or close your browser, this cookie expires and no longer has any effect. If you disable cookies for our site, you may still use our site, but certain benefits of your shopping experience with us may be impacted.

AdWords Remarketing is a Remarketing and Behavioral Targeting service provided by Google. It connects the activity of www.magestore.com with the Adwords advertising network. You can opt out of the cookie tracking here. Personal Data collected include Cookie and Usage Data.

6.4. How we protect and store personal information

We commit to protect personal information. We store your information on our secured server. We use SSL for the checkout process which help you keep your billing information safe. No credit card information is saved on our system. We don’t share your personal information with any other third parties.

You can always trust when doing business with Magestore, we always try our best to protect our customers.

7. POLICY CHANGES AND UPDATES

Please note that this policy may change. Magestore reserves the right to add, remove, change and/or modify this policy at any time. The changes will be updated on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice.
