So today, we will introduce to you how to enable/disable Magento 2 Add to Wish List and how to configure Wish List by following these simple steps.
To Enable/Disable Magento 2 Add to Wish List you need to do the following:
1. On the Admin sidebar, tap Stores. Then under Settings, choose Configuration.
2. In the panel on the left under Customers, choose Wish List.
3. Expand the General Options section. Then, verify that Enabled/Disable is set to “Yes/No”
Besides, You can do like this way to remove Magento 2 Wish List module:
1. Perform following command:

php bin/magento module:disable Magento_Wishlist
But you can not disable these module using CLI command because other modules are depends on this module. You can go
app\etc and make relevant module to ZERO and run following command

2. Check module status:
<span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><code>php bin/magento module:status
It will disable frontend functionality only while admin functionality will remain same.
But, If you change your mind or need this module again, you can configure Wish List by this way:
1. Expand the Share Options section. Then, do the following:
a. Set Email Sender to the store contact that appears as the sender of the message.
b. Set Email Template to the template to be used when a customer shares a wish list.
c. To limit the number of emails a customer can send in a batch, enter the Max Emails Allowed to be Sent. The default value is 10, and the maximum allowed is 10,000.
d. To limit the size of the message, enter the Email Text Length Limit. The default value is 255.
2. Expand the My Wish List Link section. Then, set Display Wish List Summary to one of the
Display number of items in wish list lisplay item quantities My Wish List Link
3. When complete, tap Save Config.
And here is the result in the Frontend:
Besides, Customer also care about how they can share Wish List with their friends. Shared wish lists are sent from a store email address, but the body of the message contains a personalized note from the customer. You can customize the email template that is used when wish lists are shared, and choose the store contact that appears as the sender. And the process is very easy, customers only need to follow these steps:
1. In the panel on the left of your customer account dashboard, choose My Wish List.
2. To add a comment to a specific item, hover over the image. Then type your Comment in the box.
3. To share your wish list, do the following:
a. Tap Share My Wish List.
b. Enter the email address of each recipient, separated by a comma.
c. Enter a Message for the body of the email.
4. When you’re ready to send the message, tap Share Wish List.
