Nowadays, people use many different devices to access Internet others than computers, such as: iPad, iPhone, cellphone… With fixed themes of Magento, your websites may be not compatible with all kinds of devices. Some store owners make another website URL for their stores so that they have store.com for PCs, mobile.store.com for mobiles... but obviously it’s not user friendly.
What is Themes Switcher and what can it do?
Theme switcher is a free Magento extension which helps your store to change the layout automatically for different access devices. By using this extension, you can define different themes for each device. For instance, when customers view the store from a PC, it shows a full theme and when customers view it from their iPhones, it displays a simple theme.
How does Themes Switcher work?
When customers view your store, the module will first define which operating system is used on the devices. Afterwards, it will find out which type of browsers customer is using. Based upon the OS and browser, the system will display a corresponding theme.

how to add theme

I installed your free iPhone mobile version theme, and only see it show in your theme switcher, how do i add that theme with an exception with theme Package? Thanks

Android Distinction

Hi, Nice extension! The extension currently does not make a distinction between an Android phone and an Android tablet. This is not handy. I would like an Android tablet to use a full theme, and an Android phone to use a mobile theme. For iOS this is arranged by the distinction you make between the iPhone and iPad. I am so surprised that it was quite as easy as it was. Upload the .zip file contents to the root of the magento install, log out and back in to the admin section and it's right there... simples !
